Darryl Savary

Daryl was born in Ottawa in the late sixties. Growing up he always loved working with his hands. Always taking something apart and putting it back together again. He has always loved being outside in the woods amongst nature. In the late fall Darryl can usually be found on his childhood friend's property helping to take down fallen trees for firewood and for projects on his lathe. He'll also rescue old hardware pallets from going to the dump and use those in his work.

In high school shop class Darryl was first introduced to the wood lathe and this is where his passion began. Darryl was able to convert a small laundry room in his home into a workshop where all the magic gets put together.

Some of his works have made it across the world and can be found on display in Prauge and in Spain as well.

Debbie Milling

Debbie was born in Montreal, Quebec. Her childhood summers were spent painting watercolours at the family cottage on nearby McGregor Lake. As a child, Debbie expressed her love for animals and nature through drawing and painting in the field. After high school, Debbie was to attend the prestigious Ontario College of Art but opted for a career in business where she continued to use her creative talents with commercial developers. Through the years, Debbie continued to experiment with different mediums and painting styles and participated in many workshops and one on one sessions with established artists she has admired.

Over the past 3 years, over several weeks of visits, Debbie was able to study with the late Toller Cranston in his studio in San Miguel de Allende Mexico. Toller was an incredible mentor to Debbie for many facets of the art business, not just about the paint. With encouragement from Toller and after achieving success in business, Debbie has turned to her passion for painting. Primarily self directed, Debbie continues research into technique and composition to further refine her art. Extensive travel to Canada’s diverse regions offers Debbie the opportunity to capture views of remote Canadian landscapes and lately she has joined her two passions of art and horses and is painting a collection of horse paintings. Her two preferred mode of travel is by horseback or by boat; further enhancing her unique perspective.

In recent years, Debbie’s work is gaining recognition and now resides in public and private collections across Canada. Debbie currently works in her studio overlooking McGregor Lake near Ottawa, Ontario. She has her horses in her field, her canoe at the ready, and her studio filled with work in progress.
